My Story
I started writing at the age of six, with a love for storytelling and a passion for weaving words into tales. I was deeply drawn to prose and spent much of my early years creating short stories and sharing them on my WordPress blog.
That changed when I met my roommate in medical school. She was passionate about poetry, and her poems intrigued me. Slowly, as I read more of her work, I began to see the beauty in poetry. It was like opening a door to a world I had never considered.
Later, as I scrolled through Instagram, I discovered a whole community of contemporary poets whose words resonated deeply with me. That was when poetry truly captured my heart. I started shifting my focus from prose to poetry, and soon it became my favorite way to express myself.
Poetry is now my passion. It’s where I pour my emotions, thoughts, and experiences. Writing has been my companion through life, and I haven’t looked back since falling in love with the art of poetry.
Personal Life
I’m a medical doctor living in Accra, Ghana, where I balance the demands of my career with my love for creative expression. I am also a small business owner. Outside of work, I find joy in simple things: reading, writing, and spending time with my beloved cats.
- I’m a huge fan of Jane Austen, and Pride and Prejudice is my favorite book.
- Poetry books and literary classics are my go-to reads.
- If I’m not scrolling Instagram for poetry, you’ll find me glued to Korean dramas or watching cat videos.
- Food is my love language.
